Jeff, a native of Wilmington, is a veteran and a retired special agent of the F.B.I. who has resided in California, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia. During his F.B.I. employment, he was assigned primarily to organized crime/drug matters and, later in his career, to a counter-terrorism unit. He received performance and exceptional service awards and citations from Judge William S. Sessions, Judge Louis Freeh, Mr. Robert Mueller, U.S. attorney Chris Christie and Ambassador John Negroponte relating to his field and F.B.I.H.Q. assignments. He also acted as a relief legal advisor and chief division counsel for the F.B.I. from the 1980s through the 2000s.
Since his retirement, Jeff has practiced law in Sussex County in private practice, as an assistant public defender and as a deputy attorney general. He has prosecuted, defended and represented civil clients in cases in the Court of Common Pleas, in the Family Court, in the Chancery Court and in the Superior Court (including approximately 15 jury trials).
Jeff and his wife reside in Lewes and are the proud parents of two adult children.
